Melitta highlighted what it claims is the world’s smallest fully automatic coffee machine the new C35 at the Caffe Culture exhibition last month.

A working preview model of the new C35 was on display, and is due to be available in the UK from September. The machine has been designed to have an "exceptionally small" footprint, yet generous output, says the company.

It measures 350mm wide, and can produce 250 espressos or 200 cappuccinos an hour. It can be used on a constant basis, meaning total capacity of around 4,800 cups of coffee per day.
