Krispy Kreme is using a branded van to visit 75,000 office workers throughout the UK and hand out 6,500 free doughnuts to "office heroes", such as the person who always stays late.

The "Office Hero roadshow" campaign started at the beginning of August in Brighton and the van is now on its way up to Leeds, stopping in 12 places, including Reading.

There is also a chance for one firm to win free doughnuts for the entire office for a year.

Katie De Souza, head of marketing at Krispy Kreme, said the firm was “really excited about this campaign, and hope it’s something that our customers will enjoy as well”.

It is the doughnut retailer’s first ever experiential campaign in the UK, handled by London agency Sense, and will last for four weeks.
