Northern Ireland-based Linwoods Bakery is recalling its Multigrain Loaf due to an inconsistent emphasis of wheat ingredients and a soya ingredient, according to the Food Standards Agency.

On the ingredients panel for the 400g Multigrain Loaf, with a best before date of 10 September and earlier, some wheat ingredients are emphasised, but soya has not been emphasised as an allergen, meaning the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to soya.

The company has urged anyone with an allergy to soya who has bought the loaf to return it to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund.

The company, based in Armagh, said other Linwoods products were not affected by the recall.
