Wales-based bakery Ridiculously Rich By Alana has unveiled new display units.

It has rolled out new floor standing display units with national convenience chain Nisa in 500 of the retailer’s stores across the UK.

The display units will hold a selection of the bakery’s most loved pre-packaged products, including its new Three Slice Boxes in Caramel – comprising salted caramel slice, crème brûlée brownie and millionaire’s brownie with Belgian chocolate & caramel; and Traditional – comprising gooey chocolate brownie, Belgian chocolate rocky road and sticky toffee flapjack.

The success of its self-serve retail unit, launched in early 2019, led to the decision, said the company.

“I am very excited to be able to offer customers even more pre-packaged products from our range and to provide retailers the perfect way to display them,” said Alana Spencer, director at Ridiculously Rich By Alana.

The company also revealed it had plans to install further display units across the UK, after a lot of interest from other suppliers.

Founder and winner of 2016’s The Apprentice, Alana Spencer bought Lord Sugar out of the cake business in September last year.

In October 2019, Ridiculously Rich officially moved into its first purpose-built bakery in Spencer’s home town of Aberystwyth, Wales.
