Mr Kipling has launched its first range of cupcakes in three of the manufacturer’s iconic flavours.
The Angel Slice, Cherry Bakewell and Apple Pie cupcakes are currently available in a single pack format with an MSRP of £1.20, and a party pack format of 12 (four of each flavour) with an MSRP of £8.00.
The single pack format is being sold as a Tesco exclusive, but Mr Kipling said further formats would be made available to the wider grocery and convenience market in the near future.
Kelly Davis, marketing controller for Mr Kipling, said: “The new Mr Kipling cupcakes range is an exciting new addition to the brand’s existing portfolio.
“It launched mid-February in Tesco, with three delicious variants based on Mr Kipling’s most iconic flavours - Angel Slice, Cherry Bakewell and Apple Pie. All three flavours contain 100% natural flavours, no artificial colours and no hydrogenated fat.”
Mr Kipling also recently released a range of oat-based slices.
