The competition is open to professionals and amateurs with entrants asked to decorate a doughnut, which can be either home-made or shop-bought.
They should then take a photo and submit it to Mono, along with contact details, using the upload facility at www.monoequip.com/competition.
The prize will be a Bear Teddy 5 Litre Planetary Mixer, supplied by Bear Varimixer, worth almost £1,200. This table top mixer comes complete with a beater, whip, hook and guard.
The winner will also be invited to visit Mono Equipment in Swansea to pick up their prize and to take a tour of our manufacturing facilities, along with a demonstration of doughnut making by Mono’s master baker in the test bakery.
The competition is part of National Doughnut Week, which is sponsored by CSM Bakery Solutions. Mono guarantees to donate £500 to The Children’s Trust when the competition closes.
Images must be no larger than 5mb and be in jpeg format. Entry to the competition is limited to one entry per person. Do not send actual doughnuts to as they will not be entered into the competition.
All entries must be submitted and uploaded to the website by 5pm on 23 May.
