Bakery café chain Muffin Break has seen sales jump by more than two thirds at its Worcestershire store following a refurbishment.
The newly-refurbished outlet in Redditch, which re-opened on 20 June, reported a 42% increase in transactions during the first week, compared to the same period in 2015.
There was a similar uplift in sales for the company following refurbishments at its East Kilbride and Derby stores.
Lisa Brook, general manager at Muffin Break, said: “Our store refurbishment programme has been hugely successful and the increase in sales following our new look stores further demonstrates this.
“The revamped modern yet rustic designs of Muffin Break stores are enticing both new and old customers to come and visit us.”
In June Muffin Break relaunched the Duffin, (a muffin/doughnut hybrid) with two new flavours alongside the original hazelnut chocolate.
