Finsbury Food Group food-service brand Kara is launching two new cakes as part of its Indulgent Cake Collection.
The brand, which launched 12 indulgent cakes with cake supplier Memory Lane in January this year, is adding to the range with a Snowball Sparkle cake and a Luxury Salted Caramel and Hazelnut cake. Both cakes are triple-layer and pre-sliced.
The coconut and raspberry Snowball Sparkle cake is decorated with buttercream and sparkling desiccated coconut, while the Luxury Salted Caramel and Hazelnut cake is covered with a chocolate hazelnut buttercream and decorated with salted caramel buttercream, milk chocolate curls, salted caramel drizzle and hazelnuts.
Kara marketing manager Jane Deegan said: “The new winter cakes, available to order from 25 August, are a great addition to the range and have been developed with on-trend flavours to serve customers an unparalleled sensory experience.
“Both offer a variety of tempting flavour combinations, allowing for an indulgent cake, perfect for any winter of Christmas menu.”
Kara redesigned its logo and strapline in April to reinforce its bakery credentials.
