(Ely, Cambridgeshire), a supplier of plastic food packaging, is introducing a co-ordinated range of food containers made from PLA (polylactive acid), an environmentally-friendly material. Now available in PLA are three new salad bowls with lids in its popular Twisty range (250cc, 375cc and 500cc), as well as a Single Tortilla and Twin Tortilla pack. These products add to the PLA sandwich wedge, launched a few months ago.
Steve Campbell, Anson's business manager standards, says: "Since we launched the PLA sandwich wedge, we have been inundated with requests from customers to produce more biodegradable packs."
