French bakery and patisserie producer Brioche Pasquier has launched a mini apple tarte Tatin, aimed at the foodservice sector.
The 120g Tartelettes Tatin are supplied frozen in boxes of 10 and are made without artificial flavours or preservatives.
The company said the desserts can be warmed from frozen in 12 minutes, or baked from chilled in five. It added the small, individual portions are easy to serve at large events, or are ideal for operators who only want to prepare one or two portions at a time.
Paul Thompson, sales manager at Brioche Pasquier, said: “Our Tartelettes Tatin are really just like those baked for the best bakeries in Paris.
“They are made from four simple, high quality ingredients, treated with respect. Fresh, juicy apples are cooked long and slow with sugar to create a golden caramelisation, and the pastry is crisp and flaky, and made with creamy French butter.
Brioche Pasquier recently started production at its new bakery site in Milton Keynes.
