Swiss-based manufacturer Aryzta has seen revenues increase 17.6%, to €377.6m (£315.30m), in its Food Europe business, for the 13 weeks to 31 October 2013.
Revenue in its Food North America business dropped 0.9% to €364.2m (£304.21m), while Food Rest of the World fell 7.4% to €54.5m (£45.52m).
Total revenue for its food businesses was up 6.5% to €796.3m (£665.14m).
Owen Killian, chief executive, Aryzta, said the group remained on track to "substantially complete its transformation programme" by the end of the 2014 financial year and that the group was well placed to "take advantage of potential consolidation opportunities across the sector".
