Scottish pastry manufacturer Bells Food Group has expanded its pie collection with a range of Deep Filled Pies.

Flavours in the new range include a Deep Filled Chicken Pie (460g) and a Deep Filled Mince and Onion Pie (460g). Each is topped with Bells’ puff pastry and priced at £2.00.

The new innovation is a response to consumer demand for good-quality, convenient, affordable meals and reflects the growth in families eating together, said the company.

Ronnie Miles, managing director for Bells Food Group, added that the business was incredibly proud of its pie range.

“Our new Deep Filled Pies are perfect for those consumers looking for a quality, hearty, filling meal and offer really good value for money,” he said.

The Deep Filled Pie range will be available in Asda and Sainsbury’s from this month in Bells’ new packaging.

In October, Bells secured a pie deal with Lidl to supply its Fergesons range to the discounter.
