Border Biscuits, the premium sweet biscuit producer, will improve its presence in major retailer Asda this month, with the introduction of Dark Chocolate Gingers and Orange - a new variant to its chocolate ginger range.
The new variants will launch nationally across 500 Asda stores that will offer a twist on the brand’s range that won a Great Taste Award for its Milk Chocolate Ginger biscuit last year.
Border Biscuits has maintained a strong relationship with Asda after working together for more than 12 years.
Stacey Byrne, national account executive at Border Biscuits, said: “We’re delighted to launch Dark Chocolate Gingers and Orange in Asda stores across the UK, further enhancing our relationship and profile with the store and their customers.
“We’re constantly looking for new ways to innovate and we strive to make exceptional biscuits that people love.”
Border Biscuits is an independent owned family run business and was founded in 1984. With a turnover of £14.8 million, the company employs 150 people and donates 10% of its profits to local charities and projects.
In June, Border Biscuits introduced a decadent new cookies range.
