The nominations have been announced for the European Coffee Awards 2011.
Nominations were made by more than 300 senior industry peers who took part in the Allegra European Coffee Leader Survey in August/September 2011. Findings from the survey will be reported in Allegra’s Project Café11 Europe, which will be published on 24 November.
The category winners will be announced at the European Coffee Awards & Gala Dinner at the European Coffee Symposium 2011, to be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin on Wednesday 23 November.
Costa, Caffe Nero and Starbucks have been named as nominees in the category for the Best Branded Coffee Shop Chain in the UK and Ireland.
The leading McDonald’s coffee shop chain McCafe has also been nominated.
