Bakery-inspired cosmetics company Beauty Bakerie has launched at Boots in the UK.
The American business was founded by baker Cashmere Nicole (pictured right), who, while fighting breast cancer, became conscious of what was going on her body, as well as the things she was putting in it. As a result, she created Beauty Bakerie, a cosmetics brand that makes beauty products inspired by bakery.
The products launched online at Boots last month and are also available at online beauty retailers Cult Beauty and Look Fantastic.
Products available in the UK include Oat Flour Setting Powder (rsp £22.50) and Cake Pop Lippies (rsp £9.50) as well as a nine-pan Proof is in the Pudding eyeshadow palette (rsp £36.00) and Eyelash Icing (rsp £17.00).
The launch follows a string of food-inspired beauty launches over the past year. In March Fiona Cairns launched a collection of luxury bath and beauty products for Waitrose, while Baylis & Harding unveiled a range of pamper products with fragrances including Frosted Sprinkles, Blueberry Glaze Donut and Vanilla Sugar Donut.
