Invicta Bakeware, equipment manufacturer and supplier, has hired a new manager to keep up with customer demand.
Martin Brown has joined Invicta as operations manager, with responsibility for production and increasing efficiency at the company. Formerly production and operations manager at Holmes Catering Equipment Solutions, Brown has over 30 years’ experience in the food industry.
Invicta Bakeware is a manufacturer and supplier of equipment to the bakery, catering and food processing industries. Brown said of his appointment: “It will be my role at Invicta to look at all aspects of the business and to bring further operational improvements into what is already a well-established and successful production environment.”
Operating a new computerised numerical control machine will be part of Brown’s new role – it uses advanced computer-aided design and manufacturing programmes for metal cutting, and is due to be installed at the North Yorkshire-based factory next month.
John Waddington, managing director at Invicta Bakeware, said: “It is important that we continually seek to refine our working practices to keep up with demand and maintain our industry-wide reputation for fast, friendly and efficient service.”
Invicta appointed a new business development manager, Lee Croucher, in September last year, as part of the same planned expansion.
