Pidy, the ready-to-fill pastry specialist, has won an award for its recently launched gluten-free range.
The range received a highly commended award at the Casual Dining Show last month. The gluten-free selection comes in two varieties and two sizes; two neutral and sweet pastry cases, which are both available in a 5cm-size case and an 8cm-size pastry case.
Robert Whittle, UK general manager at Pidy, said: “Winning an award for our gluten-free range has been the icing on the cake; the award rightly recognises the excellent quality this range has. We are definitely leading the way for gluten-free pastry, and we want to continue pushing the boundaries.”
In February of this year, Pidy launched one of the first ever spicy and curry-flavoured macarons.
