Kitchenware chain Lakeland has released two new frosting flavours – prosecco and gin & tonic.
The frostings come in 350g re-sealable tubs, are alcohol free and are suitable for vegetarians or vegan. They are ready to use as a topping or filling for cakes.
A Lakeland spokesperson said: "The trend for adding alcohol flavours to your food has been gathering momentum for some time and we know our customers are going to love this fun way of adding prosecco and gin and tonic flavourings to their cupcakes!"
Lakeland’s Prosecco Gummies, made by SugarSin, are also proving a hit, selling six times as many as originally predicted.
