Somerset-based bakery equipment supplier Brook Food Group has opened its second overseas branch.
The business, which expended into Australia with the opening of an office in Melbourne in 2012, has now opened a site in Washdyke, New Zealand. Both the Australia and New Zealand branches are partially partnership-owned and run by the UK Brook business and local industry experts.
Brook Food will now act as agent for Logiudice equipment in New Zealand and Australia, and carry equipment ranges including Hobart mixers and Rofco ovens and provers.
Brook Food, which has been supplying new and refurbished bakery equipment to the baking industry for almost 25 years, said it had a strong export division and that having showrooms and stock in global locations allowed it to offer users better stock and quicker lead times.
“Very much like our UK and Australian branches, with the help of our bakery specialists, our New Zealand branch will provide a full and comprehensive service from consultancy, where we can help you with your business set-up requirements, right through to equipment supply, financing, installation and after-sales servicing,” added the company.
