Dough balls shaped by Domatic Sartori equipment are deposited on a production line

Domatic Sartori’s dough shaping lines are being made available to UK bakeries via a new strategic partnership with Interfood Technology.

The agreement sees the Italian bakery equipment specialist’s advanced lines integrated into the Buckinghamshire-based equipment distributor’s Bakery division, which is led by head of sales James Fitch.

Interfood Technology noted that Domatic Sartori is brings over 50 years of engineering heritage in precision mechanics and automation for the baking industry to the partnership. Today, the company designs and manufactures customised industrial bakery lines and tailor-made dough machinery, combining patented research and development with a strong focus on efficiency, flexibility and product quality, it said.

Solutions now being rolled out for the UK market range from automatic divider rounders to fully integrated dough shaping lines capable of producing a wide variety of baked goods at scale whilst maintaining the integrity of traditional baking processes. These technologies are designed to improve productivity, ensure consistency, and support both artisanal and industrial bakery operations, added Interfood Technology.

Interfood Technology was co-founded in 1999 by James Sydenham and Mark Bishop. It has grown to its current 30,000 sq ft UK headquarters located in Haddenham Business Park near Aylesbury, which includes office space, warehousing, and a spare parts complex.

It has exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partnerships with bakery equipment brands including Salva, Padovani, Beor, and Purpak, covering the likes of complete production lines as well as mixers, extruders, moulders, decorating machines, cutters, ovens, wrappers, chillers, and washers.
