Jestic Foodservice Equipment has announced its expansion into the bakery sector.
Jestic Foodservice Equipment has just had confirmation of exclusive UK distribution rights for Scandinavian bakery specialists Sveba-Dahlen and Glimek and, as a result, has declared it will expand into the bakery sector.
An exclusive bakery section will be created within a planned extension of the company’s menu development kitchen, at its head office in Tonbridge, Kent.
Michael Eyre, product director at Jestic, said: “Sveba-Dahlen is renowned not just for pizza ovens but for its range of bakery equipment worldwide alongside sister brand Glimek and, as such, we saw an opportunity for those in the bakery and HoReCa [hotel, restaurant and café] market in the UK.”
Investment
He added: “We’ve decided to invest in our team and our facilities in order to provide our customers with the level of service and expertise for which we at Jestic have become renowned.”
Jestic has also announced a significant capital investment in facilities and personnel for the 2016 launch of the new bakery section. New positions have been created specifically to cover the bakery sector, including a bakery specialist with over 30 years’ experience.
