Dr Helene Roberts has been appointed group marketing and innovation director, a newly created role at Linpac Packaging.

Roberts was a senior marketing director at Graphic Packaging International before taking up the role at Linpac, and has also worked in strategic marketing for fresh food products and consumer goods at Sealed Air. She has also worked with Marks & Spencer in various roles, including as its head of packaging.

Linpac operates across a network of 14 manufacturing sites, servicing 71 countries.

Roberts said: “The packaging industry is exciting yet challenging, and through our focus on innovation, we can strengthen Linpac’s market-leading position.”

Daniel Dayan, chairman and chief executive of Linpac, said: “The core of innovation is turning concepts into attractive products, creating value for customers and consumers.
