British Baker is pleased to announce this year’s presenter for the prestigious Baking Industry Awards will be singer and 1980s icon Jason Donovan.
Now in their 25th year, the Baking Industry Awards celebrate all that is great about the baking industry and 2011 winners included Christopher Freeman of Dunn’s Bakery, Terry Tang and Ms Cupcake.
All of the 2012 winners will be announced at an extra-special 25th anniversary awards ceremony on Wednesday 12 September at the Park Lane Hilton, London. Guests will include well-known faces from all the major plant bakeries, millers, leading supermarkets, bakery trade bodies and suppliers.
Jason Donovan shot to fame in Australian soap Neighbours, before moving into music with a string of hits and a stage career. More recently, he starred in Strictly Come Dancing and is set to be a new judge on an Andrew Lloyd Webber show later this year.
