Time is running out, so make sure you get your nominations in for the Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Délifrance, by the 22 June deadline.

This award is for those who have made a real difference in the industry, and are an inspiration to other bakers. Who is your baking hero? Let us know.

Christopher Freeman of Dunn’s Bakery won last year’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Baking Industry Awards and said he was ecstatic when he was presented with the accolade: “It is wonderful to be recognised by your peers and it says more than anything else when you are honoured in this way for the work you have done over the years for the industry.”

For those considering nominating someone for this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, they must have done something special and gone that extra mile and a mile on top.

Please tell us what the nominee has achieved, the business they work/ed for, what they might have accomplished outside the industry and what service they may have provided to the industry itself.

Nominations should be sent to the British Baker team marked ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ or emailed to bb.events@wrbm.com. For any questions, please contact Rebecca George on 01293 610422.

The winners of all categories will be announced at this year’s special event celebrating 25 years of the Baking Industry Awards, to be held on Wednesday 12 September at the Park Lane Hilton, London.

To book your place at this top industry networking event, contact Elizabeth Ellis on 01293 846593 or email bb.events@wrbm.com for tickets.
