Coffee specialist 200 Degrees is to open a site in Liverpool in July, bringing its offering of hot drinks and freshly-made food to the city centre.
The 72-seater, 1,950 sq ft coffee shop will be located within the Metquarter shopping centre. A selection of salads, soups, sandwiches, cakes and pastries – all prepared daily on the premises – will be available alongside hot and cold drinks, including hand-roasted coffee, iced tea and milkshakes. Vegan and gluten-free options will also be on offer.
The Liverpool Metquarter site is the ninth 200 Degrees coffee shop in the UK – the first opened in Nottingham in October 2014. It will feature a split bar, sunken seating area, bespoke artwork and outdoor café seating.
“Our new coffee shop is in a fantastic position on the ground floor of the Metquarter,” said Tom Vincent, co-founder and director at 200 Degrees.
“We always aim to become an integral part of the community wherever we go, and we want everyone here to find somewhere in the shop to relax with their coffee and hopefully enjoy some of our freshly prepared food.”
