Bakery specialist Aryzta has added two products to its individually Wrapped To Go range.
The newcomers are a salted caramel shortbread bar (63g) and a rocky road bar (62g), both with an RSP of £1.25.
The products have a shelf-life of 14 days and are thaw-and-serve – aimed at retailers with limited freezer space. Aryzta claims the variants offer a return of 32% for stockists.
Mariam French, head of marketing and products UK, said the products met consumer demand for more indulgent food that can be eaten on the move.
She said: “We know that nine out of 10 adults enjoy sweet biscuits and a third of consumers eat biscuits two to four times a day, so the demand is there. The two new Wrapped To Go products enable retailers to offer shoppers the quality, tasty products they’re looking for when they’re on the move.”
Aryzta offers a range of display units for the ‘Wrapped to Go’ range, suitable for all stores, with freestanding display units, counter-top units perfect for till point purchases, and clip-on units available.
