Pennsylvanian bakery company Auntie Anne’s is to open a store in Manchester’s Arndale centre on Monday (3 December).
The new premises will mark the first opening in the city for Auntie Anne’s, which was founded in 1988 at a Pennsylvanian farmers’ market. The business has 1,800 stores globally of which 35 are in the UK and Ireland.
It offers sweet and savoury baked goods, which it said were made with simple, wholesome ingredients. Its dough is made from scratch on-site and all products are hand-rolled and baked. Its pretzels come with a freshness guarantee, meaning they have been baked within the last 30 minutes.
The new Manchester store will sell a variety of pretzels in different flavours, including Cinnamon and the classic Original Salted, as well as Cheese Stuffed Pretzel Nuggets with a marinara dip and a Cheese and Jalapeño Pretzel Hot Dog.
It will also sell Pretzel Pizzas, a personal-sized pizza with a pretzel base, and a Pretzel Breakfast.
