Biscuit company Bahlsen is rolling out a free-from version of its children’s Zoo biscuits.
Called Zoo Imagination, the biscuits are a gluten- and lactose-free version of its existing product. The treats are sold in a 100g bag with an RSP of £1.79. Each biscuit is shaped like “fun fairy-tale animal characters” including a dragon and a unicorn, said the company.
Zoo Imagination is made using corn and teff flour and is certified with the Crossed Grain symbol.
“For many parents, the free-from category has a limited offering in terms of products that taste great, are liked by their children and gives them peace of mind with a gluten-free certification,” said Julien Lacrampe, trade marketing manager of Bahlsen. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer a trustworthy product that fills this gap in the market, appealing to children and parents alike.”
