Bakkavor has announced that the planned industrial action ballot will not go ahead.
In a statement it said: “Bakkavor Group is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with the GMB union regarding pay discussions at its Bakkavor Pizza operation in Harrow. Consequently, the planned industrial action ballot will not go ahead.”
Earlier this month it was reported that 600 GMB members from the Bakkavor Pizza in Park Royal were to be balloted for strike action, in a dispute over pay.
