The Bath Cake Company will open a new cake decorating school in the New Year.
Located next door to the current shop on Lansdown Road, it is hoped the school will allow for increased student numbers and new classes.
For the past three years classes have been run from hotel locations and within the shop.
New classes for 2014 include a Valentine’s cupcake class, owl and teddy bear modelling, and a three-tier wedding cake class. Current courses, such as two-tier celebration cake with wired sugar flowers and the classic cupcakes class, will continue.
Alongside cake decorating classes, the company will be offering the PME Professional Diploma Courses and Masters Certificate.
The business was founded by Adams in 2010 and began trading from a market stall in Green Park Market, Bath. The sugarcraft shop opened in September 2012, and is the only one in the city.
