Gluten-free bakery Bells of Lazonby has added two new gluten-free products to its ‘We Love Cake’ range.
The 105g muffins – in chocolate and berry flavours – are certified by Coeliac UK and are available from Bidvest, as well as other frozen food wholesalers.
They are supplied in cases of eight, and have a seven-day shelf-life after defrosting.
Emily Sudell, Bells of Lazonby’s marketing executive, said the company was delighted to accelerate its new product development programme with the launch of the new muffins.
“The number of people actively seeking free-from products is at record levels, either as a dietary or lifestyle choice,” she said.
“Our expertise and experience is enabling us to develop great-tasting, pioneering products that are on-trend and ideal for eating out of the home.”
The new products come as market research shows almost three-quarters of people would eat out every fortnight if gluten-free options were available [Coeliac UK].
