Irish free-from business BFree has announced a new listing in Asda for its brown seeded bloomer.
Launching next week, the loaf is gluten-, wheat-, dairy-, soy- and nut-free, and contains 68 calories per slice.
It was awarded a gold star at last year’s Great Taste Awards.
Alex Murphy, general manager, said: “We believe that free-from bakery should be extraordinarily healthy without compromising on taste, to cater for every consumer. We aim to make our full range something that the whole family can enjoy and feel great about eating.”
The business launched into the UK market last July with its multigrain wraps, available in Asda stores nationwide.
Last December, BFree’s burger bun was launched into GBK’s 60 outlets across the UK, while the multigrain wraps were listed on Virgin Active Gym’s winter menu.
The company’s full range is available on Ocado.
