Party Starter Box

Little Dessert Shop has expanded its menu and refreshed its branding as well as launching its first mobile app.

The dessert parlour – which currently operates 70 sites (mostly franchises) nationwide – unveiled new trend-led and Instagram-worthy menu options such as Cinnamon Roll Cake and Cornflake Brownie.

The Cinnamon Roll Cake (rsp: £7.75, via website) features layers of fluffy cinnamon swirl sponge filled with rich brown sugar cinnamon filling and finished with smooth cinnamon frosting. The Cornflake Brownie (£7.75) is an American-style fudgy chocolate brownie layered with the band’s signature cornflake tart.

Meanwhile, a new Party Starter Box (£52.95, see image above) comprises mini milk chocolate cookies, French toast bites, doughnut pudding bites, brownie bites, waffle cubes, mini pancakes, fresh strawberries, and pistachio kunafa, served with five chocolate dips of choice.

Little Dessert Shop has also introduced new beverages like Pear Drops Sparkling Lemonade and Banana Cream Oatly Matcha Latte, the latter through a partnership with Oatly on exclusive supply of oat and coconut milk-based products including cold foam.

It comes at a time when the company has updated is colour palette, graphics, and signage across stores and menus, said to be done whilst retaining its “playful personality”. Newly introduced colours are aligned with classic dessert ingredients including Powdered Sugar (white), Cream, Marshmallow, Dark Cherry, and Chocolate as well as three pink shades representing cotton candy, icing, and frosting.

Additonally, a brand-new Little Dessert Shop app is now available to download with plans to roll out a loyalty scheme called Brownie Points in due course.

“This rebrand marks an exciting new chapter for us, giving our stores a fresh new look while expanding our menu and introducing new ways for our customers to enjoy and engage with the brand,” commented Little Dessert Shop founder Mu’azzam Ali. “With new desserts, sharing boxes and an expanded drinks range, we’re giving customers more to discover on their next visit or online order.”

Last year, the company began testing a new dark kitchen model designed to meet growing demand for high-quality desserts delivered direct to doorsteps. This included opening four new facilities located in in Wood Green in north London, Guildford in Surrey, Bermondsey in southeast London, and Stonehouse in Gloucestershire.
