Country Choice - New sweet treats - 2100x1400

In-store bakery and food-to-go supplier Country Choice has extended its range of viennoiserie and sweet treats, whilst refreshing its Swan Bakery branding.

Leading the line‑up of innovations is the Raspberry & Mascarpone Crest, which is ready to bake from frozen and incorporates rectangular Danish dough filled with mascarpone cheese and raspberries. Available in packs of 45, the 100g pastries are described as a premium, café‑style addition perfect for indulgent, continental bakery-inspired moments.

There are also two new butter pastry buns in cinnamon and chocolate flavours, a Hazelnut & Chocolate Roll, a Chocolate Babka, and a Caramel Babka. Bringing a touch of nostalgia is the new thaw-and-serve Iced Finger Bun which is topped with a generous layer of sweet icing and comes in packs of four.

Country Choice, which is owned by Houston-based multinational wholesale distributor Sysco, has extended its selection of premium muffins too with the introduction of four indulgent thaw and serve, topped and filled tulip varieties: Sticky Toffee, Jaffa, Lemon Drizzle, and Raspberry & White Chocolate. In addition, there are four new muffins with branded toppings and inclusions – Lotus Biscoff, Nestlé Mint Aero, Nestlé Rolo, and Nestlé Munchies Muffin – which come in branded cases to make them easily identifiable on shelf.

Lastly, and inspired by the latest indulgent cookie trend, come four stuffed and topped cookies – Double Chocolate Smores, Milk Chocolate & Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate & Pistachio Blondie, and Chocolate Chip & Hazelnut.

Country Choice has meanwhile given its Swan Bakery brand an eye-catching new look. Designed to ensure retailers of any size can create a commercially effective in-store bakery offer that feel inviting, the refreshed branding features sleek black wood, bold typography, and vibrant pops of colour that will make it standout even more. It has been rolled out on everything from shelf‑edge labelling to packaging, as well as the complete portfolio of Swan Bakery merchandising and display units.

The new Swan Bakery brand reflects the way consumers engage with bakery in convenience and forecourt settings where they are drawn to freshness cues, visual quality and the promise of a treat, said Country Choice.
