Patterson Arran-owned biscuit brand Café Brontë has launched the Chocolate Choices crafted mini packs range.
The Chocolate Choices come in four varieties – Milk Chocolate & Coconut, Milk Chocolate & Orange, Dark Chocolate & Ginger and Dark Chocolate & Mint.
Each case of Café Brontë’s Chocolate Choices contains 48 single biscuit mini packs, with 12 of each variant.
The biscuits are made with 37% Belgian chocolate and will roll out to UK independent retailers such as coffee shops, hotels and on-board travel.
Allan Miller, sales and marketing director for Paterson Arran, said this was an exciting new addition to the range and gave its customers a brand-new offering.
“The combination of rich Belgian Chocolate and the mini pack format provides an indulgent on-the-go everyday treat, ideal for the catering and hospitality industry,” Miller said.
The launch was a response to growing consumer demand for chocolate biscuits to accompany coffee, said the company, as research revealed that over a third of customers would pay more for biscuits with a chocolate coating or inclusion, and the same figure would eat a sweet biscuit with their coffee (Mintel).
