There’s less than two months to go until Christmas 2018! If that wasn’t enough excitement, Britain’s bakery brands have been busy whipping up a host of indulgent products for the festive season.

Some retailers and bakery brands have already revealed their sweet and savoury festive bakery NPD, tapping a number of key trends in the process.

In this latest round, we’ve unwrapped more on-trend products from gluten-free panettone, mince pie croissants, Christmas sandwiches and even festive afternoon tea.

Here’s what’s in-store:

Arden & Amici

Italian bakery Arden & Amici is adding two premium panettone flavours to its range this Christmas, all wrapped up in celebratory ‘sparkle’ packaging.

First up is the Gluten Free Mini Panettone (right) which is filled with sultanas, citrus and candied fruit (rsp £2.50). Also joining the line-up is the Tipsy Tiramisu Low Bake Panettone (left) which pairs traditional panettone with authentic Italian flavours of tiramisu (rsp £10).

An Orange & Cranberry Low Bake Panettone, a Mini Chocolate Panettone and a Tall Bake Panettone are also returning alongside a Tuscan Panforte (centre)– a traditional chewy dessert filled with almonds, candied fruit and mixed spice. Almond Ricciarelli, biscuits with a marzipan taste, offers a smaller treat that pairs well with coffee, according to Arden & Amici.
