A luxurious cookie sandwich, a fruity cake, and an Easter-themed biscuit are the brand-new items rolled out by Costa Coffee as part of its spring 2025 menu.
Available now at stores nationwide, the bakery treats are also joined by some returning customer favourites including toasties, sandwiches, and muffins.
“Spring is a season of joy, and we’re thrilled to bring this vibrant energy to our menu with fresh flavours and comforting favourites to mark the season,” commented Nishant Bhatia, Costa’s global food and beverage innovation director. “Whether you’re embracing the fun of Easter gatherings or enjoying the brighter days ahead, our spring menu is here to make each moment more special.”
With the pistachio flavour trend continuing in sweet bakery into 2025, Costa has launched its new Chocolate and Pistachio Cookie Sandwich. This comprises rich dark chocolate cookies filled with creamy pistachio frosting and hand-finished with pistachio nuts.
The coffee chain has also added a Strawberry & Vanilla Cake to its line-up. Described as a perfect pastel treat that tastes as good as it looks, the cake features layers of light vanilla sponge, sweet strawberry cream cheese frosting and strawberry jam.
The final newcomer is Easter-themed Gingerbread Iced Biscuits decorated with hatching chick designs. These follow on from the iced biscuits created for Costa’s previous menu, which were designed as gifts for Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Costa will once again be serving Cinnamon Buns – a recommended pairing of a latte laced with Cinnamon Bun syrup – as well as Triple Chocolate Muffins. On the savoury side, the company is bringing back its Nacho Chili Cheese & Chicken Toastie and Egg Mayo Sandwich.
In light of increases to the National Living Wage on 1 April, as set out in the Autumn Budget, Costa announced a 5% pay rise for around 15,000 of its employees working at 1,500 company-owned stores across the UK. This forms part of a £8m investment by the business this year.
