Costa Coffee has unveiled its summer bakery menu.

Launching in-store on 29 May 2014, its sandwich range will include a chorizo and roasted pepper panini, a goat’s cheese and beetroot panini and a BBQ chicken panini.

Sweet products include a mini Victoria sandwich, lemon drizzle slice, a Belgian white chocolate blondie and a morello cherry tart. The coffee chain will also introduce a passion fruit, orange and mango muffin and a gingerbread crab.

Jane Treasure, head of the food and beverage department, said: “Our new bakery range has been designed with summer in mind – we’ve made them fruitier, ensuring it’s packed with summer flavours. We have also included much-loved ice cream flavours for our raspberry ripple and mint choc chip Fancies, keeping the assortment of sweet treats fresh and fun.”
