Coup de Pates, which launched its rebrand of Delice de France last year, has created two new sponge sheets.
The chocolate and vanilla-flavoured sponge sheets from the company are ready-to-use and designed to save time for industry professionals.
The company said: “Through its latest product development, Coup de Pates is offering chefs and kitchens a premium, consistent, highly versatile product, which can form the perfect base for all manner of profitable desserts and celebration cakes.”
Frozen from raw
The W22 x L30 x H2cm, vanilla- and chocolate-flavoured sponge sheets are supplied frozen from raw, in order to reduce waste, and are suitable for vegetarians.
Mariam French, head of marketing and product development for Coup de Pates, said of the new sheets: “The finest ingredients, lovingly brought together and innovatively presented, allow chefs scope for ever-greater menu development. With an upsurge in demand for desserts and profitable occasions like Easter on the horizon, products like this give chefs the opportunity to do more with less.”
