International ingredients and products supplier CSM Bakery Solutions has launched its first-ever Genoese Cake Mix to help bakers perfect their cakes.
The Craigmillar Genoese Cake Mix will be available to buy from September and produces a moist sponge with multiple uses.
The mix is said to be easy to use; bakers only need to add oil and water to create a high-quality sponge, claims the company.
The Genoese Cake Mix holds colourings and cocoa well, meaning it can create Battenberg, Neapolitan, rainbow cakes and chocolate cakes.
Micaela Di Trana, global category director for pastry mixes and fillings at CSM Bakery Solutions, said: “It’s big news for CSM to be launching our first-ever Genoese Cake Mix. We know there is a huge demand for a new cake mix in the market and the new mix delivers on quality and taste.
