New Maple & Pecan, Vanilla, and Cinnamon & Hazelnut Pastry Swirls

From on-trend breads, bagels, and bretzels to pastry swirls and mini muffins, bakery supplier Delice de France has unveiled 47 new products in its 2025 spring/summer range.

The raft of seasonal NPD spans bread, patisserie, snacking, and chilled categories including some lines outside of bakery, such as sandwich fillings, pizza toppings, spreads, and soup.

For its new savoury on-the-go bakery items, aimed at driving growth and value for operators, Delice has taken inspiration from Caribbean and Scandinavian cuisines. It has introduced Jamaican Patties in five varieties: Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Vegetable, and Jerk Chicken varieties.

Joining the line-up are a new Chicken Curry Slice and Chilli Beef & Cheese Slice, as well as a Chicken Bake and a Cheese & Onion Bake.

Meanwhile, the company is tapping into increased demand of US-style comfort foods with a septet of fully baked bagels, available in Plain, Sesame, Poppy Seed, Multigrain, Everything, Cheese & Jalapeno, and Veggie options.

Billed as a stand-out performer in line with current baking trends is the Cheese Brezel – a pretzel knot featuring a soft, chewy interior and a golden, lightly glazed crust for a distinctive finish.

Another new bread product is the Multiseed Sub Roll Hinged Cut, an 8-inch sub roll featuring a soft, wheat-based interior with a lightly crisp crust. This is hinged cut for easy filling, and topped with a nutritious mix of golden linseeds, millet seeds, and black poppy seeds. Additionally, there’s the new Multi-Grain Country Roll.

On the sweet side, there’s a trio of new Pastry Swirls in choices of Maple & Pecan, Vanilla, and Cinnamon & Hazelnut (see above). Delice commissioned consumer testing this year via the Vypr product intelligence platform, which found that 74% of respondents thought the swirls range matched ‘very well’ with what they look for in a sweet treat. The supplier is also tapping into the trend for lighter treats with new Mini Muffins in Blueberry, Sicilian Lemon Curd, and Chocolate Chip flavours.

The new Apple Cake with Butter Crumbles is described as a moist apple cake topped with golden, buttery crumbles for a satisfying crunch – the natural sweetness of the apple blends with the rich, soft cake base, creating a balanced texture and flavour, noted Delice. And lastly, the Funfetti Crodot is a ready-to-eat croissant-doughnut hybrid finished with a smooth pink, strawberry-flavoured coating.

The company unveiled a new ‘Delice to Go’ sub-brand last year which saw it extend into the chilled food-to-go category. Following feedback from operators that they are looking for more flexibility with sandwich fillings, Delice is now bringing five best-selling varieties to market in 1kg tubs. These include Coronation Chicken, Tuna Mayonnaise, Mixed Cheese & Spring Onion, Egg Mayonnaise, and Chicken Mayonnaise. It also has a new smooth and versatile vegetable fat spread called Bebo Butterich.

“Each year we challenge ourselves to go bigger and better with our spring/summer launch and the team have truly outdone themselves this year,” commented Thierry Cacaly, CEO at Delice de France. “Whether its stand-out treats and bread products or expansions in chilled that will help our customers drive their sales, Delice de France’s range has once again grown stronger, and we can’t wait to hear what our customers think.”
