Characters from Frozen, Paw Patrol and Star Wars are among those featured on the latest additions to Finsbury Food Group’s celebration cakes range.
The manufacturer has added new licensed ranges, including the UK’s fastest-growing preschool brand Hey Duggee, as well as Peppa Pig.
The ranges will align with some of the most anticipated cinema releases and trends for autumn/winter 2019 and beyond, said Finsbury. The new products include:
- Hey Duggee – The children’s TV show has become the fastest-growing character for nursery-aged children. The Hey Duggee celebration cake is available in Tesco and Asda with an rsp of £10
- Disney, Frozen – Ahead of the Frozen sequel premiering in the UK in November, Finsbury has introduced four new products to the range. These include a Princess Anna and Elsa cake, rsp £10; Olaf the snowman cake, rsp £12; and Frozen traybake cake, rsp £8.
- Star Wars – December will bring the next Star Wars film: The Rise of the Skywalker, and the Finsbury BB8 character cake will be available from December with an rsp of £12.
- Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig – The refreshed Paw Patrol Mighty Pups cake will be available from October, rrp: £12; the Peppa Pig celebration cake will be available from September, rrp: £10.
In September, Finsbury also added a Harry Potter range to its portfolio, Based on the four Hogwarts houses, the range includes a House Crest Shield cake and a tray of 12 cupcakes.
