Simply Lunch has introduced a new range of over 30 premium breakfast, lunch, and snack options looking to elevate the everyday food-to-go experience.
Debuting in the ‘Made by Simply Lunch’ line-up are sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, toasties, focaccia, ciabatta, croissants, rolls with sourdough, and pretzel buns, featuring bold flavour combinations in sleek, minimal packaging. All products are freshly made by hand at the supplier’s BRC AA-accredited production site in Croydon.
Along with established customer favourites such as the Bacon Roll, the Ham Hock & Smoked Cheddar Sandwich, and the Ham & Mozzarella Croissant, there are some indulgent items making their debuts like the Chicken, Chorizo & N’Duja Focaccia and the Veggie New Yorker Pretzel. Ready-made salads and berry granola complete the range.
Family-run Simply Lunch has also progressed its partnership with Wildfarmed that began in January 2024, ensuring all bread carriers are crafted with flour milled from wheat produced through regenerative farming methods. Wildfarmed flour provides a superior texture and taste to the breads that make them stand out from standard chiller options, noted the supplier.
Simply Lunch said its Made range has been tailored for every consumer mission and dietary need whilst helping drive revenue and delighting consumers across all day parts. The products balance high-quality ingredients, innovation, and convenience, it added.
In addition to its selection of food-to-go products, Simply Lunch also provides operators with a full suite of support including POS materials, step-by-step activation guidance, and marketing resources ranging from eye-catching signage to tailored menu-building tools.
Last summer, the company unveiled a state-of-the-art innovation centre in Croydon, which it described as a ‘dynamic hub for creativity and collaboration’.
The UK food-to-go market is set for a historic merger between two of its biggest manufacturers, Bakkavor and Greencore, after they finalised terms of a proposed takeover offer last week after several weeks of discussions.
Meanwhile, another rival food-to-go firm, Around Noon, officially opened its newest facility at Slough Trading Estate earlier this month.
