The make-up giant is marking 25 years in business with an exclusive afternoon tea at Balthazar London brasserie in Covent Garden.

The Party Edition afternoon tea pays homage to the 25th anniversary of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

Régis Beauregard, Balthazar’s Head Pastry Chef, has conjured up cakes, macarons, financiers, shortbread and mousses, all in seasonally autumnal colours, and all modelled on pieces in the Bobbi Brown make-up collection.

Most striking is a pair of luscious Hollywood Red Gloss lips – a vanilla yoghurt mousse filled with rosewater jelly on a base of sponge.

The blueberry and lemon Smokey Eye Mascara is a chocolate-covered almond financier with blueberry consommé and whipped lemon posset.

There’s a Champagne-infused rhubarb Shimmer Brick, a pecan & jasmine Long-Wear Cream Shadow and a coco-citrus Extra Balm Rinse cheesecake.

To accompany these there are sandwiches and buttermilk scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam.

Bobbi Brown said: “As I embark upon my brand’s 25-year anniversary celebrations, I can’t think of anything more appropriate than to update the Balthazar tea with my party essentials.”

The products which inspired the afternoon tea cakes are also available to purchase in a Limited Edition Party Pouch.

Customers who book the afternoon tea will also receive an invitation for a personalised make-up lesson at all Bobbi Brown London Studios.
