Ginsters of Cornwall has announced the opening of its first Ginsters Pasty Store, in Newbury, Berkshire.
Opening on Saturday (1September), it will serve a range of savoury pastries and side dishes, as well as a breakfast menu and hot drinks. The line-up will include vegetarian options.
This first-ever store opening marks the next chapter in Ginsters’ mission to bring an authentic taste of Cornwall to pasty lovers across the UK, said the company.
Kieran Hemsworth, managing director at Ginsters, said: “We want people to relax and enjoy our freshly baked pasties and slices – we don’t rush, so you shouldn’t either. We are telling the story of our Cornish heritage, and our commitment to quality ingredients.”
The Ginsters Pasty Store opening comes following a new packaging reveal in June and new product development, with more planned for the autumn.
Cues from the redesign have inspired the store’s interior, including wall artwork created using a traditional wood carving technique.
