Holland’s Pies is supplying 100 pies to a homeless shelter over the Christmas period.
The pies will be delivered to The Booth Centre in Manchester, which provides food and support to homeless people.
David Girdler, spokesperson for Holland’s, said: “Booth Centre do a fantastic job in and around Manchester. We wanted to be able to help in their efforts and give a little something to those who are in a less fortunate position. We hope the pies donated to the centre will provide someone with a warm meal this Christmas.”
The pie brand is part of 2 Sisters Food Group, and employs more than 300 people at its Lancashire base.
The products are served at fish and chip shops and football stadia. They are also sold in retailers.
