Jenkins Bakery has expanded with its 28th outlet in Porthcawl, South Wales.
Opening at 35 John Street, the shop is the third opened by the business in the last 12 months, according to Russell Jenkins, operations director.
Other sites include a flagship coffee shop in the new East Gate development in Llanelli, and a purpose-built new outlet in Portmead, Swansea.
Situated “in a prime town centre location”, Jenkins said that those at the bakery were “looking forward to making friends” with new customers in Porthcawl.
David Jenkins, commercial director, added: “We are delighted to be expanding once again.
“As a third-generation family business, we care passionately about what we do. We pride ourselves on being in touch with our customers and it is a hugely exciting time for us to be opening this new venture in Porthcawl.”
Jenkins Bakery employs 300 people, both full- and part-time.
