Krispy Kreme has launched a new range of doughnuts that swirl two flavours together in one.

The so-called ‘Duoghnuts’ come in two variants. They are:

  • Double Chocolate Duoghnut – filled with a marble of white and milk chocolate, hand-dipped in chocolate-flavoured icing and finished with hand-piped swirls of chocolate and vanilla frosting, topped with a golden dark chocolate star and chocolate scroll
  • Praline Cheesecake Duoghnut – Filled with a smooth praline cheesecake filling, dipped in chocolate-flavoured icing and hand-finished with icing and a golden dark chocolate star and chocolate scroll.

The doughnuts are available in selected stores until 1 December and have an rsp of £2.20 each.

Krispy Kreme is also rolling out a praline hot chocolate and a white chocolate hot chocolate to accompany the range.

Premium doughnuts have grown in popularity in recent years, with supermarkets looking to tap into the trend. Both Asda and Morrisons have launched premium offerings this year.
