Free from brand Livia’s, formerly known as Livia’s Kitchen, has unveiled a range of vegan dipping cookies called Dunx.
Available in three variants – Caramel Almond Swirl, Peanut Butter & Jelly and Choco Hazel Crunch – Dunx is rolling into 600 Tesco Express stores nationwide from 18 February.
Each pack (rsp £1.79) contains three oat cookies and a pot of dipping sauce. Like other items in the brand’s portfolio, Dunx are vegan-friendly and gluten-, egg- and dairy-free.
“Dunx is a really exciting launch for us as there really is nothing else like it on the market,” said founder Olivia Wollenberg.
“We know there is increasing demand for better-for-you indulgent treats that deliver on taste and that is what we always guarantee.”
The launch follows a period of rapid growth for Livia’s, which also makes Raw Millionaire Bites and Biccy Bombs. Distribution has increased over the past year from 30 stores to more than 2,000.
To build on this the brand has also undergone a makeover with strong visuals and bright colours to “create greater stand-out on shelf”.
“The new look marks a step change in our journey as we look to take the business to the next stage and appeal to a broader consumer base. It’s not just the ‘free-fromers’ that enjoy better-for-you alternatives and we are confident our new branding will help put a spotlight on our products and better communicate our range to anyone looking for an indulgent sweet treat,” added Wollenberg.
