Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats has added a Maltesers Smash Cake to its range of celebration cakes.
The cake combines sponge with chocolate butter cream, topped with Maltesers and covered in a milk chocolate dome. Consumers can crack open the chocolate dome to reveal a mound of Maltesers.
Mars said the Smash Cake was “sure to bring a whole lot of fun and entertainment to any occasion.”
The Maltesers Smash Cake (rsp £14) serves 16 people and will be available to purchase from Asda stores from Monday 28 January.
The cake is the latest addition to a host of cake NPD launched by Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats, which late last year rolled out M&M’s Cake Bars and Mars Milk Snacks chilled desserts.
